Currently works as System Performance Engineer for Verizon. His background is in Technology with a Bachelor Degree in Electronics Technology from University of Eastern Africa Baraton- Kenya. With Masters degrees in Computer Science, Computer Security and CyberSecurity. Joel is a firm believer in Volunteer , charity and community development, he currently sits on the board on a newly registered Charity organization that supports underprivileged kids in Kenya.

Dr. Jacob Ongaki
Jacob Ongaki, Ph.D., is a professor of higher education and founder of Grand Granite Diaspora Savings and Credit Cooperative Society (GGDS) and Grand Granite Diaspora Investment (GGDI).
He has extensive academic and professional experience in accounting and finance, including many years in the mutual fund industry specializing in accounting, taxation, shareholder distributions and disclosures, and compliance. Through these organizations, he has
brought together diaspora members to promote financial empowerment, savings, investment, and sustainable economic opportunities while strengthening connections between the diaspora and communities in Kenya.
GGDS and GGDI share a mission to pool members’ resources, safeguard their assets, and create sustainable pathways to financial freedom and wealth creation. Their long-term vision is to empower members to achieve their social and economic aspirations while positively impacting their communities.
Our growing initiatives, including GGDS, GGDI, GGDI Elite, Lifeline-Welfare, and multiple investment and community projects—testify to this vision and show that the journey toward building sustainable, member-driven institutions is already underway.

He has practiced Occupational Therapist for more than 28 years. He has been an educator in higher education (occupational therapy) for several years. He is an Associate Professor and Program Director of Doctor of Science in Occupational Therapy in Andrews University Dr. Kereri holders Ph.D. in Health Sciences with emphasis on health care policy and leadership, M.H.Sc. in Occupational Therapy, and B.S in Occupational therapy.
